MIKEY GRAHAM LIFTED BY SPIRIT OF STEPHEN GATELY
BOYZONE star Mikey Graham says the spirit of his pal Stephen Gately helped him in the competition.
The Irish singer was booted out on Sunday having lasted nine weeks.
And he claims Stephen, who had been a contestant in the show himself and tragically died last year aged 33, gave him a helping hand.
Mikey, 37, said: “There were times I felt his presence in my own head and heart. I said: ‘Give us a hand. I need a bit of help.’ And he did.”
But he says he was shocked to go since rival Danniella Westbrook, 36, failed to do the required solo spin.
Mikey admitted: “I was surprised.”
Ex-jungle king Christopher Biggins, 61, will be a guest judge on the Dancing On Ice tour when it arrives in Sheffield on April 8.
