GERMANS GO TO WAR WITH DAILY STAR

HUMOURLESS Germans are up in arms after we revealed they will be playing at the World Cup in Nazi-style black shirts.

We revealed the last time a gang of Germans took on the world wearing a black uniform was under Hitler.

But rather than raising a smile, the article sparked a furious reaction in the Fatherland.

And downmarket German newspaper Bild printed our story on their website, blasting it as “the absolute summit of tastelessness”.

The rag, which called David Beckham’s sister Joanna a pig and his kids dwarves during the 2006 World Cup, stormed: “Gigantic scandal over our World Cup shirts! The English are comparing our black World Cup strip with black shirts of the SS!”

They added that we were “guilty of the largest case of bad taste in the history of the competition” between England and Germany. Another po-faced paper, the Cologne Express, wrote: “The British find this really funny; apparently nothing goes on The Island without Nazi comparisons.”

Furious Germans also deluged our email. One anonymous emailer said: “Germany is better than your f***ing Nation called England!! This article about our new jersey just shows your jealousy. Piss off fish & chipheads !!!!!!”

Another, Rainer Wenning, added: “Go to hell!”

And Michael Renner wrote: “Dear British island monkeys, you are sooo damn idiots. I think you Britons have a nightmare with your lack of success in football!

“You always fetch out the Nazis. We built the best tanks, submarines, cars and planes!”

But fun-loving Brits were more positive. Matt Harmer, from London, said: “The article is bloody hilarious.”

Well, I think after that match with Argentinia, Germany needs the "keep up spirit" and the "will" of the old SS. Otherwise they will even not reach the quarter final in South Africa. And the full name "Schutzstaffel" would be perfect for the defense part of the German team to give them the right thrill. I would like to propose also that they shirts should have a nice division sign from the old SS to show the team spirit, instead of the 11 stripes (nonsense!). For the "Three Lions" team I recommend the division sign of the BEF of General Gort. I also recommend the english team to travel light, because I'm afraid the capacity of south african fisher-boats is limited, RNLI- boats are not available there and the coast of Kent is far, far away. And this is what this newspaper is doing by comparising our actual football team with an military group, which was responsible of millions of horribel kills. But hey if you guys like those jokes make some about the UK team What´s about this one: If you shoot goals pointable as you throw bombs on dresden I´ll be sure one of a million will hit something else then kids or women. Or what´s happen if the german team runs trough your defense? Will you call the usa to support you with food and weapons? Hey i actual don´t know if india or china will be with the world championchip, but if, will you shot or foul them till they run your way? Do you send a ship like Mayflower to southafrica to get some new "employees" for your manufactorys and cotton fields Ok i´ll stop, it is too tastless to go on. But as you can see also a few comments of Germans in the internet are the same. The fact that a a few Germans tar all English with the same brush annoys me most. Therefore I think, we should all calm down, bury the hatchet and stop this discussion on this level. So let us just be thrilled on the World Cup. =) oh, and sorry for my bad english.
